AccessNomad has measured access at venues all over the world. Aggregated, that data tells a story regulators, transit authorities, and researchers can use. We license it — under rules that protect the standard.
Who we'll license data to
- Yes: Academic researchers studying disability, mobility, or the built environment.
- Yes: Civic groups, advocacy organisations, and disability rights bodies.
- Yes: Transit authorities and municipal planners working on access infrastructure.
- Yes: Tourism boards using city-level access data to brief operators.
- No: Hotel groups, restaurant groups, attraction operators — anyone being rated by us. Conflict of interest.
- No: Insurers or employers using access data to assess individuals.
- No: Ad-tech platforms or data brokers. We do not sell to them.
What "aggregated" means
Stripped of identifiers and grouped at the city, category, or equipment-type level. For example:
- "47% of measured hotels in Orlando fail at the bathroom door."
- "Median Verified entrance width across measured restaurants in London: 36 inches."
- "73% of measured attractions in Tokyo have not been peer-verified yet."
Never an individual venue, never an individual verifier, never an individual reader.
What licensing doesn't buy
- Influence over a venue's status. Verdicts are never for sale.
- Early or exclusive access to a failing re-verification.
- Removal of any venue from Honest Failures.
- Identifiable contributor data.
