I've stayed at a lot of "accessible" hotels that weren't. The Grand Floridian was different from the moment the car pulled up. The drop-off zone is under the portico, flat, no curb. The lobby doors are automatic and wide enough that I didn't have to turn sideways — first time that's happened in a while. The elevator button panel is at chair height. The roll-in shower has a fold-down teak bench and a handheld wand. My scooter charged overnight from the outlet positioned exactly where you'd want it, next to the bed. I planned this trip myself. Nobody had to figure anything out.
